My take on the fish from M. C. Escher’s lithograph Three Worlds.

I forgot the fin under the fish and i made the mustaches smaller but the sad and lost look is right on the money.

I experimented with creating the shape just from dots. There not perfect dots because I didn’t have the patience. The i added some shading with a B2 pencil and went over it with a wet brush.

In the end i set it on fire…

Daddy’s got a new pair of shoes. And what does he do with them? Well the first thing is a family portrait. Now say cheese!
