I was actually looking for three foot, three dimensional mushrooms for a baby shower that I'm trying to decorate in a fantasy theme. I came across your drawings and something about them just stopped me in my tracks. I find them fascinating. I appreciate the detail and am very fond of the softness, but there is something about the feeling they evoke in me, especially this one, that I'm having difficulty finding the words to express. It makes me smile, i think, because it reminds me of the happiness of my childhhod and the haapiness of raising my own children, yet I have a sadness that the magic I remember from both doesn't seem to be around much anymore and will escape have departed this world forever by the time my I have grandchildren.....
